Julie & Megan were recently married at Huron Substation in Northeast Los Angeles. I was hired to start at 5 and at about 2 that day it started raining! We are in the middle of a drought in Los Angeles so I was happy to see the lush raindrops but I knew it was going to affect their outdoor wedding. I arrived early to check out the space and to see what changes might be made because of the rain.
They ended up moving the chairs indoors only for it to stop raining an hour later, so the guests stood for the ceremony. It was a Jewish ceremony with a beautiful Chuppah and other traditional Jewish rites.
They had two very special guests, their dogs! The dogs were really well behaved and I was shocked to hardly hear them at all throughout the wedding day. Here are their mothers with each of their dogs listening to the ceremony.
It was a fun filled day and even the kids had a ball! The venue, Huron Substation, was a wonderful place to photograph at. I hope to shoot an event their again. You can view more photos from the wedding at: http://www.naheedence.com/042515_meganandjulie
